15/16 Inch Brass Gold Finish Oval Miraculous Medal

15/16 x 1/2 inch oval satin finish brass gold plated miraculous medal on a 18 inch stainless steel gold plated chain. The pendant features a gold satin finish oval with the figure of Mary in the center and a polished gold border. Surrounding Mary are the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the back of the medal in a brushed finish is the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
