15/16 Inch Sterling Silver Heart and Flowers Miraculous Medal

15/16 x 11/16 inch satin finish sterling silver miraculous medal on an 18 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant is heart shaped and has a floral border around the outside. In the center is an oval with the figure of Mary on it. Surrounding Mary are the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the back of the medal in a brushed finish is the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box.

The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
